Swap plastic dish brushes in the kitchen with our 100% biodegradable beechwood and sisal fiber dish brush.
The head is removable and replaceable. This kitchen brush has an untreated beechwood handle with sisal fiber (agave plant) bristles. It is held together with metal wire, and includes a small wire loop at the end to hang to dry. Brush with handle is 9" in length.
Each brush head can be used for up to 6 months and handles should last a couple years with normal use.
Tips for Longevity: Do not leave any of the wood parts soaking in water, the wood will naturally absorb water which may cause it to swell and crack, or the metal pieces to come out. Hang to dry or place in a dry spot after each use.
Don't apply undue pressure on the handle as it may break.
Brush Head Replacement: Pinch the wires together near the head of the brush and slide the small circular metal piece down to remove old brush head. Slide a new brush head on and slide the metal piece back to its original position to hold it tight.
Sustainability: The wood and agave parts can be composted, and the metal parts can be recycled.
