Directions:

Stovetop

  1. Rinse lentils before using.

  2. Place 1 cup of lentils in a large pot with 2 ½ cups of water and ½ tsp salt.

  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, 25 minutes.

  4. Drain before use.

Slow Cooker
  1. Rinse lentils before using.

  2. Place 1 cup of lentils, 2 cups of water and ½ tsp salt into a slow cooker.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 1 ½ hours.

  4. Drain before use.

Multi-Cooker
  1. Rinse lentils before using.

  2. Place 1 cup of lentils, 2 ½ cups of water and ½ tsp salt in the pot of a multi-cooker.

  3. Set the valve to sealing.

  4. On manual setting and high pressure, set for 5 minutes.

  5. Natural release the pressure for 20 minutes.

  6. Drain before use.
